Higglety Pigglety Pop! or There Must Be More to Life!

I have never heard of this story before but now I really want to see the whole movie after watching this short clip. Meryl Streep is an amazing actress!

Info:
This animated short, based on the book by Maurice Sendak, follows Jennie the terrier's surreal, suspenseful journey to gain new experiences and realize her dream of becoming the star of the World Mother Goose Theatre.

In this clip, Jennie first learns of the World Mother Goose Theatre... and her lack of experience.

Alma

Alma is a short, sweet and slightly disturbing animation.

And now for something a little different...........

Just finished reading The Heretics Daughter by Kathleen Kent. Amazing book about the Salem witch trials from the point of view of a little girl. Very harrowing book about an infamous period of American history.  After putting it down I decided to set myself a little project, creating my own bookcovers.Until now ive just been playing with my watercolours so for this I took both organic and digital elements and had a little experimentation. Im really ecstatic at the finished look.

Little Bit Dashing

Drawing based on vintage photo of a woman dressed as a man.

Happy new year

New years resolution.
I must update more

Little Quickie inspired by the snowy landscape that is Britain this week. Heard on the news that it was colder here than in Lapland at one point and one degree warmer than the north pole in some places!
Would love to see the reindeer all migrate over here to roam the English fields.
